Anyone use this 20moa mount. I have one on my ar and every scope I have mounted with it has to be almost maxed out on windage to the right. I think it’s around 6moa from max. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them with theirs.

Had one on a Rock River Predator Pursuit for a while (the M-223XR mount, so 20MOA can't). Never had an issue with mine. Moved it to and from the rifle a few times and never had to change much for elevation or windage. I'd contact Nikon and see what they can do. Something's gotta be off spec.

I would see if you can slide it forward 1 groove and move the scope back or move it back and the scope forward. I had a RR AR that had a similar issue many years ago. I even sent it back to them because I didn't think the probelm should have been there in the first place. No luck in the fix, there was an accuracy issue as well that wasn't corrected. If my suggestion doesn't work, let me know and I will see what I can do to help you get a new mount. I have been doing freelance work for Nikon for almost 8 years now and this will be the first mount issue where someone has need my help. Just send me a PM and we'll go from there.

I am presently running the .308 version of that mount on a bolt gun. Although not observed in this configuration, I did encounter a similar issue when I first mounted the glass using the original, two piece split rings. In my case, the Nikon rings were designed for a Picatinny rail while the rifle used a Weaver pattern. Despite the fact that it was secure enough to withstand recoil without movement, one of the mounts was not properly seating - thus deviating from the bore axis. Once I figured that out, it required only a few short minutes with a Dremel to resolve.

I’ve had it on and off this fun several times with minimal change. It was originally on my 223 upper but can’t remember if the problem was there then. I plan on taking the 2 bottom pieces and switching sides with them to see if it makes any difference.
