Rifle Scopes Nikon M308 Ship Date

I noticed some places had the new M308 listed with price, but no ship date. So, I called Nikon yesterday and got this email in my afternoon download:

We're writing to inform you that we have an approximate release for M-308 scope of mid to late September.

I shot this scope extensively last week at Spirit Ridge Rifle Golf. It worked awesome on two 308 AR platforms. Should be available soon. Im sure Bart will get you a better date he is Nikon Pro Staff.

I just confirmed the info Sneaky received was correct. Delivery date is now Sept.

I know it is tough to wait that long to get a scope on a rifle you have right now, but from all the great reports I have heard from those who have tested out this scope, it'll be worth the wait.
