Has anyone seen any real world reviews yet of this range finder yet, or does anyone have one yet? I'm not sure if any have actually shipped to customers or not yet. On paper it sounds like a great hunting rangefinder. I'm hoping the stabilization works as advertised, would help a ton when hunting and don't have a tripod.

I got mine in and used it a little bit this past weekend. I was able to range out to 1200 yards but that was the furthest I could see. here is a good review and some real world views through it.

oh yea, the stabilized function of the range finder takes all the wobble out of the view. well worth it for the price point. I will be shooting out to 1280 this weekend so I will have a better feel for it once I go do that.

Brownells has it available for pre-order. Its available @ Amazon now. This stabilization should help, my present LRF gets wobbly at distance and the advertised distance on any LRF is marketing's imagination. Bushnell Elite 1 mile is really Bushnell real world 1200, I hope I am wrong here. I really miss the US Army LRFs without my price issues and eye safe civilian limitations.

Waiting for some more reviews and is not sales pitch by a paid/sponsored opinion maker that just hapens to have a unit one well ahead of time like the one in the attached link

The 4000 doesn't have the stabilization. That's way more of plus than being able to range a little further.

Unless the 3000 doesn’t range what you need and the 4000 does. I returned my 3000 today to try the 4k. The image stabilization was great, but doesn’t do me any good if it can’t range my steel.

Was on a range with 2 MOA steel plates that were painted white and already hit a few times. With the Monarch 3000 Stabilized, I was able to get a range value on all of the targets. 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 yards. It was an overcast day, 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Targets were in an open field of green and brown grass. 1 to 2 feet off the ground.

Targets were painted white or orange, no hits on them. The farthest target i was able to range was a 12" diamond at 550. it was a sunny day though, 70 degrees. Open field, targets 5-6 feet off the ground it wouldn't range a 12x21 IPSC at 786.

I was able to range a street sign at 3266 yards with the Nikon Monarch 3000. Ranged deer out to over 1300 yards. Had some issues ranging non reflective targets over 1000 yards in full sunlight.
