Rifle Scopes Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40 mil-dot on AR15?

I just found out I will have enough money finally to finish a rifle that has been on the back burner for a while now.

Specs:
Probably going to be a 20" SPR-ish build
-Mega side charging upper on matching lower
-JP trigger and rifle length tube
-Young MFG National Match BCG and bolt
-magpul PRS
-Still no idea on the barrel. Help on that? 20" Wylde probably

It will be used for punching paper primarily, but will also be used on steel just for fun, and for hunting at 10-300 yrds. I feel like based on reviews, this will be a solid scope until I can get a 1000 dollar optic. Opinions?

The optical quality on the pro staffs is impressive IMHO. I have several of them on my hunting rifles. It should do all that you require of it. If you are a fan of the Nikons I would search the classifieds for a M-223. I have one on my AR and it is an excellent scope.

T, I believe the Buckmaster Scopes 12x and up and also $50 off and MONARCH's 12x and up are $100 off if I remember correctly.
