Well just finished reading SB 279 which has been introduced in the NM Senate. and the gun grabbing commies in Santa Fe are hoping to outdo the commie's in CO. Basically outlaws and gas operated weapons and would require SA pistols to have a fixed magazine. In addition, current owners would be required among other things to register them. Funny thing the sponsors of this legislation are all dumber than a box of rocks and have trouble putting a single sentence together no less write this legislation.

They're losing big in general and losing their cash flow machine, so they have to fall back on the old classic boogeyman to make it look like they're doing something. Besides, the SCOTUS rulings of the last few years have empowered them, they figure they have nothing to lose by looking like they're trying. If the law gets over turned they look even more like heroes to their idiot constituents. They get to keep fighting the "problem" without risk of the "problem" actually going away.

Why was the original AW ban written so it would sunset? So they'd have something to protect the fools from and fight against in the future.

Other than a handful of counties in NM, the majority are red. The last time MLG tried to ban weapons IIRC 33 County Sheriffs refused to enforce it and she backed down. Even if this passes I doubt few Sheriff's will enforce and the vast majority of gun owners will just ignore it. No doubt a lot of these guns will be lost in boating accidents.

Doesn't mean anything if those few counties out populate the rest of the state.

Meh, sheriffs are 50/50 these days and even if they don't enforce the law 100% of all local officers will willingly enforce it.

Best bet to defeat the bill before it becomes law

If our enemies get any kind of majority AZ will be next. That’s why that cunt governor needs to go.

That's the only thing Arizona has left too, the gun laws aren't insane

Everything else has gone to shit

Go offroading and fat retards in side by sides tearing everything up, garbage everywhere, rivers and lakes are gross

My local good ole boy shooting spot will be closed soon because retards keep shooting the power poles until they fall over, they put in metal ones and they shot up those too

Housing market fucked all to hell

Traffic is a nightmare, even the old ladies have road rage

Do you have Second Amendment sanctuary counties?

They were protesting and petitioning the king/parliament whatever back in the 1750s and 1760s over stuff like the stamp act it was 9 years before they formed the continental congress in response to acts by the king, and when they formed the congress their first action was to petition the king

What can those who are out of state do to help fight this?
