VIRGINIA BEACH, VA JULY 25, 2019:

Two armed robbers burst into a 7-Eleven store on South Newtown Road, wearing masks, brandishing guns at a clerk and two customers, and demanding cash. A man who was at the back of the store opens fire, killing one of the robbers on the spot and wounding the second one.

"Nobody is gonna point a gun at me and get away with it", the man consoles the terrified lady customer after the shooting.

Shooting a armed individual that is in a threatening posture is a tactical decision and in this case a no brainier. The legal ramifications are not even a consideration when death or severe bodily harm is possible.
