I loaded 130 g ELD-m in Lapua once fired, shoulder pushed back .002"/.003".
CCI450 primers. .020" o
ff lands .
I loaded one round of each charge of H4350

42.7
42.9
43.1 2861 FPS
43.3 2856 FPS

unfortunately my chronograph didn't pick up the first 2 charge weights.
shot in a little breeze left to right
the 43.

Shot thru a Ruger American rifle that has about 150-180 rounds thru it.
group on right with the 4 different charges. The black dot is about 3/4" in diameter.
I think I'm close on in a node?

It's possible. Do you know which three charge weights ended up close to each other?

should I re shoot with same charges?

Well, right now you don't have much to go off of. So repeating the test is one option.

I'll load some more up and re try keep track of each shot.
Didn't see any treasure signs, maybe go up another .3 grains.
I was just surprised how good the group was with all the different charge weights.
hopefully i can get good chrono velocities on all the shots also.
I'll re do tomorrow and post results.

not enough data. seems slow for a 130.

ya, its a Ruger 6.5 with a 22" barrel. At 43.3 grains i'm over max by about .3 grains depending who's reloading manual you use.
Primers aren't flat bolt opens ok. I'm using the Lapua brass CCI450 primers. I can bump up a little more but I think I got to be close to max.

book match doesnt mean much, but depending on COAL i'd bet you are close

22" barrel makes sense though for the velocity

Did you re test these? Curious if it was a good spot or if the numbers moved around.

i did not, sorry. i got a new gun ,rebarreled rem700, and only have 1 good ffp scope and I put it on the new build.
