I don't think you'll need a pin kit of you get a full lower receiver kit.
Also, this is just my opinion of course, but unless you are buying a piston upper from POF, I'd ditch the roller cam pin, I think they are a waste of money.
Barrel I suggest a 1-8 twist, more versatile. That and the $ that this build is costing you want a better one.
Are you married to the POF Upper and Rail? That's a lot of scratch, You can get a nice stripped upper and a Free float rail for half that $650, and the base of the rail will sit lower. (This is my personal preference)
Take a look at Bravo Company USA uppers ($100 I think) and pick out a nice rail, you could even spring for the PRI for $330 and still come out way ahead.
I believe the CTR stock needs a carbine spring and buffer, if I'm reading right you have a rifle spring listed.
If you are sticking with the 1-9 Barrel @ 16", or even a better twist with that length, I suggest a different trigger. Don't get me wrong you picked a Cadillac of triggers but you could save $100 and get the SSA nonadjustable Giessele which is sweet and it won't ever let your old man down.
Do a search on Lower Parts Kits, I think ORD has a thread where he links to an outfit that does mixed kits for people who are buying Triggers and Grips so you don't end up paying for extra parts you won't use.
Also, search for the threads on assembly, they run through all the parts you need and shows the process, its a nice visual double check to make sure your parts order is in line.
Don't forget a barrel nut, and make sure the CTR is shipping with the buffer tube (I thought they didn't).
You'll need a back plate and Castle Nut.
Really fun project though, it'll be a great rifle whichever direction you go.

Awesome advice! Im going to completely level with you on the rail and upper. I picked it on looks. When I get home I have to check out the stuff you suggested and see what I can find. Im still very new and dont know much about which company is good and which is not. I picked the barrel to go with the bolt because no matter how much I read over the head spacing thread its still not clicking, and Im worried that if I do have a problem Ill be pawing around in the dark. Is it really anything to worry about mixing and matching carriers and barrels? Ive been looking around for some kits for pins and springs and I just dont really know where to go with that. The stock comes with the buffer tube and the barrel with the barrel nut, but everything else Im just not sure. Thanks for the advice and Ill see what I can find when I get home.

Well I was hoping for something that can do most things well. My dad hasnt ever liked AR15s and I think thats because the last time he shot one was in the 70s. Im trying to introduce him to what they have become. I would like it to be versatile and lightweight, but it doesnt need to be stupid accurate. I want it to be impressive but I doubt it would ever be fired over 200 yards, and I doubt he would hunt with it. The big thing for me was getting him a cherry trigger because I know that was one of his gripes about the rifles the Air Force had back in the day.
Budget is 2k-2.5k. My brother and I are splitting the cost so Im pretty flexible.
