Noob looking for advice on where to buy MDT chassis

I am looking to buy a MDT LSS XL Gen2 chassis for my savage short action. This seems to be the lightest aluminum chassis out there. The price out there all seem to be about $500. Does MDT chassis ever go on sale? Where would you recommend to buy the chassis from? Thanks in advance.

I ordered both of mine (LSS XL Gen2, LSS-22) directly from MDT, as price seemed consistent no matter which vendor was selling them. I've been very pleased with both and MDT customer service was fast and easy to reach for the couple of questions I had.

I bought my MDT chassis direct from MDT. I told them I preferred to buy it from them *but* I could get free shipping from Midway USA and they gave me free shipping. I try and deal directly with the maker as much as I can.
