Noob talk. First time out to the range

Well today I finally made it out to the range. This is the first high powered rifle I have owned and shot. I zeroed in my scope at a 100 yards and was able to pull of this group here.

Theres a couple fliers. Just bored and thought I would share my first day at the range and get a good convo on here going.

There are a total of 9 rounds in the target.

Pretty decent. What rifle did you shoot with? What position?

I used my Remington 700 VTR with hand loaded 62 grain varmint grenades. I shoot off a bench using a bi pod.

I'm assuming that were feeling with 223. Not that it makes a diffrence.

You have a decent group in there with 3-4 flyers that hopefully see youband not the rifle. The first thing I did with my 700 was adjust the trigger lighter. You can adjust the pull wieght on the xmarks. I toook mine as low as it would go and the saftey was still reliable.

Just get some trigger time your doing good.
