I just bought a .308 Remington 700P and have decided to go with a Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50 FFP optic with the EBR-1 MOA reticle. Since I will most likely be using a Seekins mount (still up for debate)..my question is regarding the Vortex 30mm rings that I can order directly from Vortex when I order the scope. Anyone used these rings and have any experiences regarding their durability under .308 stresses?

Vortex rings are seekins, seekins lows will be a better ring hight on that rifle in my experience since vortex lows are actually seekins medium.
Clarification: Only Vortex "Precision Matched" rings are Seekins. The others are rebranded from different companies. The Precision Matched are good to go, but I would be hesitant to use the "Tactical" line, as they are rebranded Burris, which I've had iffy experiences with. I can't comment on the others, as I have no experience with them.
I know that ADM now makes their QD 30mm mounts but I had no idea who made their Precesion or Tactical mounts. That's good info...thanks.
I use the Vortex (seekins) PMR-30-97 (medium) to mount the Viper PST 4-16x50 on both of my T3's and the PMR-30-87 (low) on a Savage .338 lapua Magnum. They are great rings and well worth their price in my opinion.
