Does anyone have a list of comps in or around the north Carolina area? My partner and I have competed in Gastonia and guilford county, and would like to fine more comps to shoot in.

There's one around cary called woodys designated marksman match, one called pasquatank precision rifle near Edenton NC.

Add the Sniper Golf Match to that list as well. Shot it for the first time back in June and had a lot of fun despite the record heat. Can't wait for the next one.

Nice to see another Carolina guy! Both of the comps above are challenging and fun. Where in NC are you? I'm PD out of Mount Holly, right next to Charlotte.

we are shooting the mammoth match in january and are looking to shoot as many local matches as possible. so any and all events listed would be great

other than camp butner does anyone know any place in NC where our team can shoot out to 1K. we thought we had a place in VA but it fell through. we are running a match next month and all we currently have access to is 4-5 hundred. we are kinda of in a pinch.

I have only ever shot 1k at Butner. Excluding private property these are the only 1k ranges I know of in NC:

If you are willing to travel Thunder Valley is hard to beat for training and they are having an open range weekend Dec 8th & 9th. I made the trip in May and can't wait to go back in 2013.
I have only ever shot 1k at Butner. Excluding private property these are the only 1k ranges I know of in NC:

Frontline Defense
If you are willing to travel Thunder Valley is hard to beat for training and they are having an open range weekend Dec 8th & 9th. I made the trip in May and can't wait to go back in 2013.

We had a great time in kentucky after the first day. im looking forward to the 2013 season Im hoping there will be plenty of matches in NC this year
