Nosler Competition bullets....as good a Sierra?

I've seen very little written about the Nosler match bullets. Why?

Good? Bad? Specifically the 175 gr .308's.

With so many bullets unavailable they would be another option.

I shoot the 168's and my rifle likes them at 100 yards better than anything else however farther out they aren't so great. I've shot a few of the 175s but they didn't shoot very well however I was trying some once-fired FGMM and Win. primers. That was a bad combo. I think that the Nosler Custom Comps are good bullets.

Can't speak of the .30s, but I've used lots of .224s. I switched to CCs when Sierra entered the designer bullet price category. No difference out to 600.

I shoot the 6mm 105-107 and they shoot just fine. Of course you need to match prep and load tune as with the green or yellow boxes.

I shoot the 168's and I find no real difference in performance. I haven't measured or weighed a bunch though to check for consistency.

I've been very pleased with the performance of the .224 77gr CCs.

I get up to 0.007" variation in my oal using 175 SMKs that I do not find loading either Nosler Ballistic Tip (165 & 180) or their Partition 180 bullets.
However they all shoot sub MOA out to 300 with the right powder.

I have had great luck with 77gr in my 223 bolt gun. I also weighed and measured a bunch of them and they seem very consistent.
