nosler custom comp 77 g. In jp ctr-02

I was wondering if anyone has had any success running the nosler custom competition 77 gainers in the jp precision ctr-02 1x8 twist? If so what did it like? Thanks nick.

I don't have that same barrel. But I do have a 1x8 barrel that shoots the nosler 77 grains very well with 8208 xbr.

I ran them in my 18" Nordic over TAC with very good results. I like the 69s better so I shoot them more.

My 8 twist bolt gun shoots them very well, but I run 69gr SMK's in my 18" CTR-02.

So far I've run the 77g nosler cc's with varget and 8208 through a Wilson 18", a dd chf light weight and a dd button rifle barrel all with great results. I expect good things out of my krieger barrel when I get it this week or next.

The biggest reason I want to make the 77 gainers work is because they are available in bulk. I do have some 69 gainers but my bolt 223 is 1x9 and loves them and they are hard to come by.

I use them in my white oak and get MOA groups when I do my part. They don't seem to shoot as tight as hornadys or sierras for me but they work well enough and they are available in bulk which is a plus. Most guys I know with JP barrels seem to favor 69 grain sierras and varget in the 25-25.5 range.

I have a 1-8 Noveske 3 groove that works well with #41 primers, and 24.2 TAC or 26.2 2000MR
