Not today…especially in TX

Couple of thoughts here. I know some things.

First, the anchor shot was a sympathetic squeeze. Not intentional.

2nd. Worst case, involuntary manslaughter linked to the anchor shot. It has a lighter sentence, but it won't matter. Why? Because he can be pardoned of a state crime and the governor may put pressure on the DA not to indict in the first place.

3rd. The first two set of shots killed the thug. So the anchor shot was not murder or manslaughter. It was desecrating a corpse, if anything.

And, lastly, the music playing was by the band Los Tigres Del Norte. Their style of music is called Norteno. A blend of polka, brought to south Texas by bohemian immigrants, and Northern Mexican mariachi and ranchera. The name of the song is Que Tal Si Eres Tu. (What if its you?)

Have you ever seen a crime scene after the forensics are done? Since the guy walked away they watched the surveillance video and printed everything he came close to. If he went to the restroom it's covered in black powder also.

Between DNA, finger prints, facial photos, doorbell cameras and so on. There's not much that you can get away with anymore
Maybe, especially in this case as we can all see. That said any situation you may find yourself in will be somewhat different, they all are. Fingerprints on brass maybe the only thing they have, and the precautions taken to achieve it are free. As far as crime scenes that's why I do it. I was on a lot of GSW calls with FD and EMS, dead patient so we were there longer then normal and watched the Police picking up brass with a spindle so as not to disturb any prints. They are very meticulous.

I thought everybody loaded their mags with gloves.

Perp had a fake gun, and crossed someone with a real one and a willingness to use it.

Oops.

Considering the location my guess is that he's illegal and no one in the community will say anything. His finger prints will be on file and unless he's arrested for something else he will walk or is already back across the border.
But @sirhrmechanic posted that a lawyer contacted the police for him.
I guess time will tell

I know that there will be continued debate on whether the last few shots were necessary. Plenty of training is about continuing until the threat is neutralized. But I can say this: the world is a better place because this thug is no longer terrorizing. Mmm, delicious.

Gee, I'm so not surprised.

......ordered to face a grand jury by District Attorney Kim Ogg, the Soros-funded prosecutor who appears to have let the career criminal he put down out on bond.
Records show that in 2015, Washington was convicted on a lesser charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and sentenced to 15 years in prison in connection to the shooting death of 62-year-old Hamid Waraich, a cell phone store owner.

According to records, Washington was released on parole in 2021 and charged with assaulting his girlfriend in December 2022.
Knowing the shitbag that forced the customer to pull the trigger is an unreformed robber and murderer should make the guy feel even better about the situation.

Also smart to keep out of the limelight/anonymous, keep his mouth shut, and let his attorney do all the talking.

Its Soros funded prosecutors and DA's that will collapse Texas from its great cities outwards. The (now dead) guy shouldn't have been able to commit the robbery.

That extra shot in Harris county may be a problem, especially under the DA that let the guy out.

When you have a weed that causes issues you don’t cut the leaves off. You take out the root

Well, It's going before a Grand Jury. IMO - it appears they want to press charges, but they are leaving it up to a grand Jury
A Texas grand jury will decide whether or not criminal charges should be brought against a customer who shot and killed a robber in a Houston taqueria last week.
When they start using vigilante, you know you are screwed.

Criminal was ALREADY on bond for assault and spent SIX years in jail for armed robbery - but jury will now decide if 'hero' customer, 46, who 'protected everyone' will face charges

This is why decent men look in the other direction when crimes are being committed instead of stepping up and ridding society of filth. The state and its police only protect criminals and force us to live among them using the revolving door of justice as the methodology. They make it as risky and costly to do what’s right. It’s all for control as when crime goes up, stupid people want more police (gov’t) when they are what caused the problem in the first place. Viola. Police state.

How anyone can respect the men that choose to carry a gun for such a filthy gov’t is beyond my understanding when it’s obvious as hell what the intentions of the state they protect and force upon truly is. There is no rule of law. There is no justice. There is no constitution. There is only tyranny.
