I'm showing that I have notifications, when I click on them it goes to a page that is someone else's profile and there are no notifications. Help?

The notifications are off, but how to stop the notification you have one I have no clue.
The other profile means your user name is to close to someone else's so you're seeing theirs so alter your user name.
