Noveske 16" ringing

I bought a 16" Noveske Light Recce with Switchblock the other day and when I got it home and started playing with it I noticed that every time I jarred the rifle, releasing the bolt, dry fire, even folding up the sights, I heard a low ringing sound that lasted a few seconds. Anyone know what this is and if it's a problem? Will call Noveske Mon but wondered what you guys thought.

Do you have an AAC flash suppressor?

Best guess is the free float tube vibrating. Fairly normal if you have an aluminum FFT, nothing to be worried about.

Yes, it came with the AAC Blackout Suppressor

I have one and it does the same thing.

The blackout flash suppressor is also used as a tuning fork. Next time you release the bolt (safely) listen to the flash suppressor.

My 7.62 Vortex, has a pretty bad case of ringing. All of my 5.56 on the other hand, don't seem to share the same problem.

Only the coolest flashhiders ring. I love it.
