Noveske Project Ares

I ordered a project Ares from Omni Guns a couple weeks back and seeing as it won't come in until at least June, I thought I'd live vicariously through anyone on here who might have one. So, anyone own one? What optic are you running? Overall impressions? Any input would be appreciated.

Where in Wisconsin are you? When you get it lets go shooting. I'm waiting for my SR-15 but I'm expecting mine way before June.

I'm in Madison. The SR-15 was my second choice coincidentally.

I live in Milwaukee for the time being, but I'm from Oshkosh. Only found one range so far where they allow rapid fire. It's in Shiocton WI but its an hour drive from Oshkosh (public range with shooting stations from about 100 out to about 500 yards).I'm not planning on shooting groups with the SR-15 so right now this is the only range I know of where I can really run it through its paces. If you know of a good range where they don't mind it when you have some fun please let me know.

I ordered from Omni back in early January. Pretty excited about the gun however I have a feeling I may never see the rifle. No telling how far behind Noveske is right now.
