Abbott is in the governors race not Dewhurst. Which establishment candidate was taken out and replaced with a more right leaning candidate? If you are talking Trump, then no things didn’t get better. We got a crippled economy, record breaking inflation, god Fauci, and a warp speed death jab. All started under Trump. He signed trillion dollar spending “covid” bills and takes full credit for the vaxx and claimed responsibility for the shut down in his first debate with Joe. You may try and argue that these weren’t completely Trump’s fault and the system and the deep state played a huge part. I would love that argument considering you would be proving my original premise of voting In a corrupt system is futile as a solution by doing so.

As you are commenting on a Texas thread, you may want to realize that Lt. Gov is in some ways more imporatnt than Gov as they run the legislature.

Instead of having an aneurysm over this fucking worthless doom porn maybe we should focus on the smallest and closest elections, the ones that could have a more immediate impact. Like small town mayors, school boards, and especially the sheriff.

If the school board started actually focusing on the curriculum or loosening school/teaching regulations, mayors loosened all business & tax laws and regulations, and sheriffs refused to enforce any and all illegitimate federal laws it wouldn’t take long before the large cities and/or less free states started going bankrupt.
