Finally got it finished and back together. I needed a stock rifle I could shoot in factory class and all of the reviews and videos pointed to the Tikka.
Tikka CTR 6.5 Creedmore, 24" barrel. I did change out the bottom metal to accommodate AICS magazines, mainly because they are cheaper and more readily available than the Tikka mags and the recoil pad to a Limbsaver out of respect to my bum shoulder
. It's topped with a Sightron S-TAC 4-20X50. I did do the trigger spring upgrade and the trigger pull is 1.12 lbs. Sweet. The trigger was already at around 2 lbs out of the box.
The factory stock is Cerakoted in Desert sand. I thought about FDE but veeryone and his brother has a gun in that color and I think the Desert Sand makes a nice contrast with the black.
Now to find a load it likes.
