NOW THIS IS INSANE...

I can remeber not that long ago going to Gander Moutain and getting 100 round Winchester White box for $6.92. It was like $12 a box but they price matched and doubled the difference at the time. So I nailed them with the Wal-Mart price of $9 and the rest was history.

Almost $30!!

Man I am glad I'm casting my own stuff and have enough brass and primers for my little boy to shoot.

Sad thing is that there are people buying it up, and think they are getting a deal!

Re: NOW THIS IS INSANE...

CTD wierd place, the catalog\mail order side is owned by 1 person, and the store by another, you can look thru the catalog and go to the store and the prices will be totally different, the store is almost always higher, if this is the case, go to the catalog counter and get whatever at the catalog price.

Re: NOW THIS IS INSANE...

Well here in CA. it is only going to get "better"....the bill limiting 50rds per month of pistol ammo passed its first step to becoming a law. If (and when) it passes and becomes law what a person has stashed away will be worth its weight in gold....along with reloading equipment.

Take care,Stan

You said my friend. Them anti-gun, hypocrites (you know which Senator I am referring to), and liberals rather spend money on a fancy computer systems so they can trace that instead of spending the money to feed orphan children. Got a love them "Commie Pinko"

50 rounds a month is plenty for a drive-by or two, but not enough to stay in practice if you plan to defend yourself.

You will have to give a thumb print....do a back ground check....it is almost the same as buying a handgun but without the wait. Total BS and a waste of tax payers money so the lib's in So. Calif. can feel safe in their gated communities where the real world does not exist. And just another way to turn people into criminals. The Bill also prohibits inter-family transfer (I am not making this up) of pistol ammo a crime. And of coarse you can not give your buddy a few rounds if he runs short at the range.

Here is a link from the good ol Brady Bunch that outlines it:

Good luck to us all,Stan

Re: NOW THIS IS INSANE...

Look how about all the libs, dykes, gays, trannys, petas, tree huggers, feel goods, hippies..etc just all move to CA. Vacate all other states. Then let them have their little utopia. Since they hate guns so much they no longer require military protection etc. Let's see what happens!!!

When slingshots are outlawed, only outlaws will have slingshots...

BTW, a .50cal musket ball in a slingshot...; is that a weapon of mass destruction...?

Not yet, but they certainly are effective if you know how to use one. Incredibly they don't require ID to buy one at WalMart yet in PA.

This is coming to pass? Or it's just in talks?

Re: NOW THIS IS INSANE...

Not that it makes it any better...

..but the text of that seems to say that it would require anybody SELLING more than 50 rounds of pistol ammo per month to get a license to do so -- doesn't seem to directly limit qty of purchase. The rest of it is all there though -- making mail order ammo illegal, recording and databasing ammo purchases, etc.
