Nucleus Orders

Order number #318X here. I purposely ordered later on (February 2nd) thinking I wouldn't have the other guns sold/still be moving in mid April and I'd rather take delivery in July or so. Well, the guns are sold and the move (NJ to CO) is finished.... Seems like I shot myself in the foot here. Wondering how big batches are/how far apart they'll be, but really looking forward to all the range reports!

The Manners EH-1 I ordered should be shipping this month, criterion barrel, night force SHV, Lapua brass, and 1,500 ELD 147's are sitting on the bench and the geissele trigger...well, they keep saying no firm ship date...

Sorry guys, I double checked. They issued a new invoice number, I didn't realize that.

My order number for the Nucleus I ordered is
Order #2334

Probably right on PVA stocking them. PVA doesn't list the Nucleus wrench yet. But, I gotta believe they will once it all gets rolling. They sell the Mausingfield wrench now.
We will have Nucleus wrenches soon.

We were initially going to make them in house however with the barrels we have to do and the new machine center being over a month late to drop the first chip it is something that ARC is making or getting made.

We make the Mausingfield wrench as well as our Tikka wrench and our Bighorn wrench.
With the laser arriving we will have our wrenches all marked with PVA recommended torque settings and a black nitrided setup for extra wear resistance.

I ordered mine as a barreled action from PVA on the 23rd i think. I know that puts me in the back of the line but i dont know how ordering thru PVA vs ARC directly will affect my delivery time. I shall remain optimistic, yet patient :)

I haven't seen one from ARC, but I haven't looked recently. There was someone here on SH that would start building them if he got his hands on a Nucleus...
It was @Gradous.

And one of the lucky early recipients should call him and take him up on his offer once they have a bolt in-hand.

Pretty sure PVA was setup to be the source for wrenches.

See above.

Thanks for tracking that down. I may just do that, if I am not sleeping with it under my pillow. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Good night guys, I'm excited about it, but can't get too serious here.

Well I ordered on the last day the presale was open, a spur of the moment birthday gift to myself. So while I'd love to have it in hand I shall have to wait my turn. I will also be ordering an action wrench once someone has them to offer.

I ordered on the 21st and I'm 258x.. Should start to pick up now, so hopefully I'm only a couple hundred out, glad I got in when I did.

Bohem, as I ordered the barrels from you and the actions from ARC , if I ask Ted to ship the actions to you would you spin the barrels on for me? Then ship to my ffl?

this may help everyone hunker Down again and save ARC from many emails. I ordered 1/17 at 10pm, and I was told yesterday to still expect “a couple of months” til they get to me. See their email response.... happy friday

Again to help reduce emails and slowing production... My order was on the 16th at 10:34 PST, order #2341, not far behind HereInAZ and I HAVE NOT received a payment invoice or request for FFL. Be assured they are pushing them out as fast as they can! I will update the post when they get through the next round of orders and hit mine.

PVA is separate deal.

I talked with ARC, cause they had a question about my orders (I ordered Barlocs later when Ted offered special ones for the Nucleus).

My short action is shipping. My long action in the same order is not. They have not made a run of long actions yet. No estimate yet.

My short action is a .308 bolt head.

It would be nice to know how big the batches are approximately. From Renomd's email and character0's order number on the same day, it seems like they are very small batches. I hope I'm reading too much into it, but a couple of months for less than 100 actions leads to believe the batches are in the single digits. I'm 600 orders behind Hereinaz. Looks like 2019 will be the year of the Nucleus for me.

Order #233*, received invoice today for SA only. LA seem to take longer.

There have been no production runs of long actions. Like you, I ordered a short action and a long action. I mentioned it above, but when I spoke with American Rifle Company I was told there had been no long actions in production.

I'll start by saying I'm in no hurry whatsoever to get my order, but I ordered a right hand short action and a left hand 223. The lefty for my 10 yr old. I haven't heard anything about lefty's but would imagine they will be a longer wait as well. It would make sense that short action .480 bolts will ship first. You can bet gentleman; that Ted and folks are working hard and doing the job right. It will be a solid product when it ships.

Just to clear a few things up for everyone. The first run of actions that are shipping are short rights with a .308 bolt face. We have all the other configurations in the pipeline and are not to far out. This includes long rights, short and long lefts in all bolt faces. Its been a long process with a few unexpected issues but that is all behind us now and it should be smooth sailing from here on out. We appreciate everyone's patience. We are excited to get these actions in your hands, you wont be disappointed.

Cheers
