Only two options in the scope im looking at are shown.
The MOAR and the Mil-R might look similar but that is where it ends.
Most hunters will choose the MOAR, as it is "MOA" based, and they have used MOA for hunting in the past or for bench rest. Most would say it is the easier reticle to learn.
Most precision shooters have moved from MOA to "milRAD" reticles over the last 15 years, and most have moved to First Focal Plane, but that might not be an option for the NXS model you are looking at.
MOA is easy to learn as 1 MOA ~ 1 inch at 100 yards, thus 10 inches at 1,000 yards, and you can adjust. However, with many shooters moving to Mil, you might take the time to learn Mil from the get go and not have to transition if you want to do PRS down the road, for instance. MOA is measured in 1/4 clicks, and Mil in .10 mil. Mil works with meters, and it is easier to learn to range find with the mil reticle, which is why you see the range finding stadia to the right of the center.
I would suggest you take the time to read-up on how the two work. Each of the reticles is beautiful and easy to see and crisp, but fundamentally understanding if you want MOA or mil is important. Here is a good place to start.
