looking to go coyote hunting in NY. I live on long island and looking for somewhere near NYC. willing to travel if need be. Does anyone know any public land I could use?

Are you looking to call them in? If so, my recommendation would be to get hooked up with someone nearby who has some experience. It can be very frustrating starting out cold. You will get some tips to get you going and maybe you can work together to come up with some places to hunt.
