Well just had to tell someone. I posted on here a while back about my new Savage 10fpc-k not being able to group well. At the time I was shooting just some stuff I could find at Wally world some PMC 147gr Ball and Federal 150 soft points. I was really disappointed with how it was grouping and was concerned that something was wrong with my rifle, the best I could manage was 2.5 to 3 inches or so at 100. Now granted I am not an experienced shooter by any means buy I can hold MOA at 100 with my ar's. So I bought some 168 bergers and got them loaded in Nosler Custom Competition brass and 41.5 grains of Varget. So I went out this afternoon after retourqing my accustock and shot 4 rounds, the first one very low but then my next three as a group needless to say I am very pleased!! Hopefully I can improve on this since it was rushed, cold, and a 16mph right to left crosswind. Sorry to be so long winded but I had to share with someone my wife doesn't quite get it.

hehe I understand the 3 shot group... I'm always terrified of screwing up a good group, which I almost always do on the fifth shot, so I have a tendency to shoot three shot groups

Case in point, last time I took my 22-250 out at 300yd (win mod 70 varmint, bone stock):

they're hovering around 1/3MOA, but they're 3 shot so they don't count
