Sonic Crack, Looks like you and your boy have some good quality time together, Nice. I never noticed that you work with Mark G. Have you been at any of the Southington Hunt Club shoots? I have shot with Mark there. Keep up the good work on them hole diggers!!!

I think i have found my ground hog gun for the 2017 season. Just put the 223 kit and ATACR on.

I'll be using my Covert as well as soon as my .223 conversion comes in. Hopefully this week! Can't wait!

Edit. Here's the exit from down below. 308 is a anchor pretty much every time.

That is a bean field.

He just ate most of them lol.

I did see a groundhog running around in a cornfield Saturday. He was going from hole to hole, assume it was a male. Rolled him on the run with a 223 POF but he made it to the hole.

Ah Yes I see the beans now! Hard to notice them on a cell phone. Right on. Love whack'n them guys. Wish I did it more. Back in my highschool days I used to shoot ground hogs every single weekend and all summer long. Weird how now it seems if you ask some farmers they tell you the land is already leased, or I'd need to lease it to hunt for ground hogs haha. Oh well.....I have a line on some new bean fields and am really hoping to get back into shooting some again. It's been a very long time since I hit anything other than steel.

Brings back memories looking through these pictures. I used to shoot groundhogs in kudzu fields back in NC every chance I got. I don't have a place to shoot them anymore, but would love to find a place where I could do it again.

Just noticed this posting. I know I have seen some of these pictures elsewhere on other sites and probably even spoken with a few of you. I am the NC guy that shoots Pa, Ohio, and New York for weeks to months each year. Last year emphasis was Pa, next year is Ohio. Interested in any of you shooting long and real long for their hogs, I set up a bench and shoot wildcats from a single place all day. Quality hits over quantity.
