News just aired on protests of Oklahoma constitutional carry laws.

News anchor didn't even know what to call it.

Any Oklahoma guys out there that can expound on this?

So, OK has constitutional carry now and some idiots are trying to put it on the ballot so that Oklahomans can vote on it directly instead of the legislators passing a bill and the governor signing it into law, which is exactly what was done. Sounds like they don't like a representative republic and want to have a pure democracy, which would make them irrelevant, idiots.

Concealed carry, ie., non-exhibition, on person carrying of any defensive firearm, should be legal by default anywhere. If you are not committing a crime or being a danger to anyone else's life or safety, why should any inanimate objects that are carried on your person be an issue with anyone else?

A very long time ago we the people allredy got screwed om that.
I grew up in Texas with a law that said you could carry if on buisiness carying ? 200$ cash on an overnite trip at least 2 counties away. WTF but I had 200$ in cash on me at all times and an east Texas address of where I was going to purchase antiques and stay at a lake house near there.

Got called on it a couple of times! Including overnight bag.

    Next, by by officer.

    Better now.

How folks come up with this nonsense is beyond me. Remember that prick in Austin telling his officers to disregard the new law saying it's OK to travel anywhere with a loaded handgun out of plain view?

I can't seem to find it. Was it only on the TV news reel ?

"State Rep. Jason Lowe, a Democrat from Oklahoma City, said Oklahomans think the new law is dangerous and that they deserve the opportunity to vote on it.
"I say to the naysayers, I say to the individuals who cite the Second Amendment, who indicate they believe in the Constitution, what's more enshrined in the Constitution than the right to vote?" he said."

The Constitution doesn't say shit about citizens able to vote on legislation, but it does say elected representatives do.

Not many know of this going on in the more rural parts of OK. Every county in OK is RED every election. Whats sad, is that the major population centers of OKC and Tulsa carry lots of weight.

Does it also mention he wants felons to have liquor licenses ? abolish criminal history ? The new law states we can have weapons in our vehicles in the school/college parking lots only since they have decided they are NOT part of the school. He is a filthy fucking liar.

At work there are almost as many guns in the parking lot as there are at gun store at times lol. Don't ask where I work either. Where I live has extremely high gun ownership.

Businesses and LEO's where against the bill when Fallon was gov, so she veto'd it.

Right on. The process worked, for once.

What these yahoos fail to comprehend is that the Constitution DOES, however codify the unalienable right to keep and bear arms in the Second Amendment, which is not subject to repeal, nor is it subject to a vote, no matter how many SJWs are on board.

Thanks for your research Redmanss. Yutt.

Point to ponder: Why do the same people who hate guns encourage legalized weed and abortion?

    God bless America

So it seems they are only running the petition in OKC and Tulsa, our two biggest population centers. There are not many opposition posts on the facebook page that I saw.

We are a republic, not a democracy. I guess with him being a lawyer, he does not know this. I do not go to the NE corner of OKC, but is it the ghetto area ? His predecessor was also black who maxed out his term limit also. District 97 looks to be one of the few heavy dem areas.

The boys in Oklahoma roll thier joints all wrong, thier way to skinny and way to long.

In Texas we have Dallas, Austin, Houston that mess things up for the rest of the state.
You're right - "I ain't no holy roller so I just use a bong" .... I think is how it goes, catchy tune that my kids will never learn. Sad my state decided to legalize weed.

It's funny how the metro areas seem to mess it up for most of the states. Thankfully, there isn't much blue up here. We try to send ours to Dallas, Houston, and Austin!!

    God bless America
