Pretty cool Father's Day for me today. Dad was here visiting from Idaho...we thought it would be a good day to slip out and shoot a little steel.
Dad's in his 80's now(Korean war vet), but the Marines taught him well and he hasnt forgot how....we shot at 500 meters and 800 meters with my Surgeon 6XC and Surgeon .308. It was a little breezy, but cool, with clean air. Everybody shot well..
Even the grandsons hit this plate everytime at 500 meters.
This was my first six shots on the 500 meter plate, 1/2 mil holdoff for wind with the 6XC..
My nine year old getting serious at 800 meters with the Surgeon 6XC..
