My oldest girl got a decent buck yesterday. We had a front coming in and it started sleeting early so I figured the deer may be moving. We set up about 80 yards off a scrape line behind the house and this one came out. There is a real nice one using the same line but this one was perfect for her. He only hung around long enough to sniff the scrape and had business on his mind so she had to get on him quick and shoot...proud of her.

Thanks for the kind words. She is 14. Killed her first deer at 8. Her little brother has killed a bigger deer than I have. I spend all my time skinning deer and taking them hunting during deer season but it is well worth it. I will get back to hunting for myself when they are gone. It feels good passing on the knowledge and the time is priceless. We eat about 6-7 deer a year so they get in a lot of hunting/shooting.
