Hunting & Fishing On business in TX, fishing rec's?

Ill be in Texas this week for work, Ill be driving from Galveston to Little Rock, AR on Wed and have nothing else to do that day so could kill some time fishing.

Any "must go to" spots for bass or anything? Im not taking any tackle for sure, but if theres something that would rock my world haha I will. I know you guys grow some freakish bass down there!

If I had a little bit more time Id be asking for somewhere to shoot some feral pigs, so if you know of places to that let me know too as I work down here every once in awhile and may want to take a rifle sometime.

Lake Fork is just about the best bass fishing you will find anywhere. Not too far out of you way if you are driving from Galveston to Little Rock.

Agreed and there are some great guides up there to take care of you.
