New guy from just north of Houston. Grew up shooting and hunting Texas and South America.
Not new to long range out to 500 or so, but my shooting partner and I have the itch for 4 digit ranges.
Currently we are waiting on delivery of a seekins havak pro hunter and a seekins sp10 both in 6.5cm. We already have a razor Gen ii that will go to the havak. Now looking for an optic to sit on the sp10.

Looking forward to learning our guns and possibly getting into some prs matches using both of these new toys in the future.

I’ve been lurking for a while so I’ve seen the massive wealth of knowledge here. Lol

I run a commercial hvac business so engineering and numbers is my game but there is a ton of info here to take in. I think we are going to focus on the long range fundamentals while shooting factory ammo at first, then maybe venture into the hanloading side of things down the road. I haven’t loaded my own since I was probably 15 when it was cheaper to reload shotgun shells than buy em.
I tried to read Jim Boatrights paper about hyper stabilized monolithic bullets and it made my eyes cross. I think the physics of that may be a ways above my pay grade.
