I bought a Tikka McMillan Game Hunter with Edge fill so it’s CF. I haven’t got it yet but I think the dude I got it from was way mistaken in the barrel channel. I need it for a Proof Sendero and it’s likely a Tikka Sporter lol. Anyhow, where can I send this thing to have the barrel channel opened up? I want a fairly quick turnaround and I’m betting McMillan won’t be quick. If it was wood I’d just take some sandpaper and sockets to it but I’m afraid to do that with CF.

Someone may correct me on this....but I believe you can sand it down just the same HOWEVER...you will need to reseal the exposed portion. Its all CF and epoxy resin to begin with, you shouldnt have an issue.

On smaller stuff back in the day we would seal edges for minor adjustments with crazy glue but I'd look up on some thin epoxy resin for a stock and just lightly recoat it once you sanded to where you need it.

I agree,
My CF stock was no different than the wood or fiberglass I've opened up with socket and sand paper.
I mix some Devcon 2 ton epoxy and brush a couple of lite coats to seal them....
