Looking at upgrading my 6.5 CM dies from Lee to...

Option 1: Forster FL sizing die and Forster ultra seater

Option 2: Redding body die then Lee collet and Forster ultra seater

Which combo would you pick?
Thanks!

Of those two I would go forster since it is one less step for the same result.

If option 1 were redding type s full length bushing and micro seater I would do that.

Better yet, either the redding type s full length or the forster honed and a neck mandrel if you dont worry about adding the thrid step in that would otherwise be the collet.

I've had amazing success with option 2 in my 308.....I am getting rid of my FL dies in the other calibers i shoot and going with the redding body die and lee collet. My new dies set up for 300wm arrives tomorrow cant wait!

The more I learn, the more I think this is the best approach. More than one way to skin a cat, of course. In any case, I ordered a redding body die and an Forster Ultra Seater for my 6.5 CM!

Lee Collet Neck Die, Forster FL with custom diameter honed neck, 21st Century carbide expander mandrel, Redding graphite neck lube.

I have been really surprised how much I like the Hornady match bushing dies. I honestly feel like they are on par with my reddings.
