Opinions on FN PBR w/16'' barrel

I saw FN is offering the PBR with a 16'' barrel and could not find a T&E on it anywhere on the web.Has anyone seen or heard how this rifle performed?

The PBRs are decent rifles, but I wouldn't go below 18" on a .308 bolt gun personally due to loss of velocity.

I dont have one of those but have a sa socom and a mini-g(16" garand)both iron sights...lotsa umph, not tack drivers and I think they are reasonable out to 200 yds on man size targets..with optics a bit further...certainly a lot of fun and challenge....the pbr is probably meant to be a "compact" bolt action capable of accuracy with a heavier caliber in an urban envirnment....if you want a long distance shooter...get a longer barrel....

I have one and 2 of my buddies run them as well. They still have the hogue stock. I swapped over to Manners.

All 3 will shoot 3/4 or better and at our elevation we have no problem shooting to 700.... never tried for further and I honestly haven't chronoed to see where I would be at 1000.

While it isn't my go to match rifle..... I wouldn't have any heartache taking it to a 600 yard match.

That dog'll hunt.
