Night Vision Opinions on Steiner S35 thermal?

I'm in the market for a thermal and I wanted a NOX-18 but I cannot find one under MSRP right now so the next thing I'm looking at is a Steiner S35. Would like to hear peoples opinions on this thermal mostly interested in longevity and durability aspects as I don't want to bother buying thermal unless it's built to last. Thanks in advance.

I know you said you decided to go with the nox but for others info the Steiner's use Chinese cores and don't know the drops of the reticles. So even though it has multiple bdc/mrad style reticles they don't know how they work unfortunately. They said they had to reach out to whoever they bought it from to get the info but still no updates.
