I want some input and direction..

I have a DPMS 308 lower w/ A2 stock and I am wanting a upper.

WANTS:
-Has to be a COMPLETE upper..
-I want it for precision... but NOT overly heavy.
-18 - 20" barrel threaded w/ break
-Must be free floated w/ rails would be a PLUS
-Backup sights

Let me know what you all think... i know its some what specific... but I know there are a TON of options from here

I would LIKE to keep the complete upper around $1K...

Let me know some options...

Thanks

Well...it appears that NO ONE has anything in stock...

If ANYONE knows someone that has a 308 precision upper IN STOCK for the DPMS lower... PLEASE LET ME KNOW..

Thanks
Matt.

Got LUCKY!!!

I was able to secure a CMMG 18" Complete upper locally from a gun shop. They were willing to seperate it from a NEW weapon. They even gave me a KILLER deal on it.

Now... to accessorize...

Thanks
Matt.

I'm not sure what the upper would cost, but I HIGHLY recommend the POF in 6.5 Creemoor. It's a very flat-shooting round and the POF rifles are engineered better than anything else I've seen. I've been helping them with the torture testing on some of the recent developments there and I can assure you, NOBODY can compete with them on reliability and the gap is about to increase dramatically after one of the new design modifications is implemented.

POF is definitely serious about dominating in the reliability dept. My 6.5 holds right at .5 MOA. I've been following their progress for the last few years and I'm now fortunate enough to be allowed in on some of the progress there. Cool stuff.
