Optic for new vudoo

Evening gents, ladies, attack helicopters

Ordered a new vudoo renegade so looking at optics, have a deal on vortex PST gen II that I can’t pass up. But for NRL.22 and just all around shooting am I looking for a FFP or SFP. They have MRAD and MOA which will both be new beast for me as the USMC had me on Mil/mil “back in my day”

Any input/advise is greatly welcome. Yeah I know I jumped line getting a top line off the break but why piddle when I know this is where I’d end up.

MRAD is nothing new. MRAD = MIL/MIL... same same. I like my AMG for rimfire because it focuses close and has a small floating dot. If you want a step up from the AMG, go with the NF ATACR 7-35, if you want several steps down from the AMG go with the Athlon Midas TAC.

I’m running a Vortex PST gen II Ebrc-2 ffl on mine and am very happy with it.

Im running a 4-28 IOR Recon 40mm tube,,,,,,for whatever reason IOR is frowned upon here and I don't care. I love the Recon.
Super glass. Floating dot, 40mm main tube, focuses down to 21 feet. And it looks real nice on a V22.

Well I have a Friend that is able to get me the vortex pst genII which ever model for 550 so that’s more or less why I’m going that route

Travclem - reread it, asked about ffp/sfp. And reticle never about other scopes. Even said in OP that I had a deal on the vortex...was asking for input of people we’re using those: which they went with and a possible why.

FFP for sure, EBR 2C, or EBR7C, I like both reticles a lot, but I prefer the floating dot of the EBR-7C.
I’d go with MRAD (Mil).
I have a Vortex Razor 4.5-27 on one of my Vudoos , and a Nightforce ATACR 7-35 on my other Vudoo. I actually prefer the Razor over the ATACR.
