Im new to the forum and been looking around a bit. I am in the market for a scope for my AR-15. I am using it for coyote hunting, but also love punching paper at long ranges. I would like to get a scope with enough elevation adjustment to shoot 800 yards for around $400-500. I have heard good things about Bushnell elite 4200, and the Viper Vortex. I am new to scopes with elevation and windage adjustments, so any help you can give me would be great. I am sure i will want to try to shoot 1000 yards at some point, but 600-800 is more realistic at this point. Can you recommend any scopes? Can i get reliable consistent turret adjustments in the $400-$500 range? Thanks for your help!
