My order just came up and the rifle is being sent to my local dealer. YEEHA!!!!
It's a standard contour 18.5 in with all the groovy Sadlak accouterment, unitized gas cylinder and M25 receiver. I want a relatively compact scope as I'm uncertain that the need for a 10x is necessary. This will primarily be used as a ranch rifle for blasting coyotes, pig and occasionally for harvesting deer. I will however continue to work on some LR skills within the 500-800 yd range as I'm not sure the rifle will be effective out to much further with the limitations of the shorter barrel and standard USGI non bedded synthetic stock. I like the looks of the Leupold Mark 4 2.5-8X36 for this application. Any thoughts?
