Ordered parts for first build!

Well I broke down today and ordered parts for my first custom build.

Lawton 8000 action
lawton barrel .375 1.6-1.125 straight taper 1-11.5 twist

will be speaking to Joel Russo about a stock later.

Hope I made the right choice!!

Anyways enough rambling. Was excited and a little nervous so I thought I would share!

very nice, just make sure you stay on lawton, they are notorious for taking forever to get things to customers at least from my personal experiences. if you want a synthetic stock manners will also make a stock for the lawton 8000 if you want options. should be a sweet cheytac!!

Heppner! You know Phil and Clint Carlson?

Lots of room to shoot that thing out there.

Like Diggler said, stay on top of them. What timeline did they quote you?

I think I have met phil Carlson. I haven't been in Heppner long, but yes I have lots of room to shoot as far as I want. Also have permission for private ground mulie hunting!

They said the barrel is in stock and the action will be about a month since they are running a special on them! I hope they are right that is pretty fast from my understanding! The action and pic. 40moa rail were $1000 on the special. I could really pass it up!

Ordering stuff for a build is a sweet thing. The wait for completion is a sweet agony.
