Agree 100%. The genius's that founded this country; the Founding Fathers never intended for there to be a "ruling class" in in America. And that is essentially what our elected officials have become. They pass laws that don't apply to themselves, they vote themselves pay raises in the middle of the night, and continue to thumb their noses at the rest of us....its time for Term Limits and a Balanced Budget Amendment!

While I agree with the OP's post, I am saddened by the fact that in a republic such as ours, the only way that idiots are left to run the country is because many other idiots vote for them. We may not get the governement we want or need, but we do get the governement we deserve.

Unfortunately, we live in a country increasingly made up of idiots who would rather watch "The Real Housewives of Whogivesaf$%#" than do something productive, and who don't mind their liberty being eroded as long as they get free birth control...

I am offended by each and every one of those statements. And yet, I did NOT vote for any of the idiots who put those types of laws through, in our/my country. I actually DID though, vote for the ones whom ARE REPEALING some of the despicable laws and actions perpetrated by the 'other regime' prior.

Remember, I'm in a different country than ya'll. But I still wouldn't have voted for the bastards that did that shit. No sir.

My 'questions' were regarding the final point in the OP's quote which states:

and as to Zman's points, even though I/we here "use" the ever-loved 'money'.... we don't wrap ourselves around a pole about it. Simply because long ago we joined the (select?) few who realized that mankind has lived for bazillions of eons (or however you want to add it up) knowing that LIFE together with HAPPINESS does not necessarily base upon MONEY.

The societal propaganda has everyone indoctrinated from the get-go though, (read: at an early age) that money is the answer. It Ain't.

Live wisely.
