Some of you folks may know my elk hunting party got screwed by a piece of shit, ass raping, fag likn, no good, two bit lyin , flea bitten, down right scoundrel mfr outfitter whom was on this site for awile. Anyhow the screwin included my father, a vietnam vet and Navy man, and also my two of my well trusted friends. Thanks to many of you guys providing both wisdom and encouragement and due to my pops aging and time being what time is, we decided on a do it yourself hunt in Gunnison Co. We actually saw elk and my pops had an oppurtunity for a kill but couldn't get it in the glass. So for that God Bless you folks that chimed in and helped us out.

Here comes the Karma, I met a fellow while out there in a restauraunt who had heard our story and had been screwed over before once himself. This local actually drove us around in his own truck showing us various spots and along the way I helped out with some construction stuff for him as well. Needless to say we have become friends and I have swapped him a gator hunt for an archery elk hunt this fall.

Well low and behold said local has been teasing me about a Safari Company he just bought.

http://www.wildafricasafaris.co.za/ check it out.

Phukr just called me up and said buy a ticket and bring your bow cuz I need some help checking the place out. PSE Archery is gonna be here in June and it needs to be tight. Free food, free lodging, gotta build a couple of blinds, work a bit here and there, thin out the mambas and adders and chit and then get to flingn arras at weird critters. Hot diggity boyz, this redneck is gonna get to kill sum phukn wild chit. Leavin Wed!!! Anybody ever et puffadder?

Words don't tell how jealous I am... Strick9's been one of the nicests hosts one could hope for, definitely knows the SC woods and waters like the back of his hand. I'm glad something's coming around for him this year.

I'll make sure Cypress is taken care of while you're out launching sticks, stay safe brotha.

Re: Out of the blue African Karma

Holy fukenstocks the game was crazy, upon arrival I was handed my tasks , revamp blinds and pour underneath slabs for handicap accessibilty. 110 F was the norm, almost monkeyed a couple of times after that list was done, I got list number two, animal inventory, that made my day. Along the inventory I found a Jackle hide out and wound up missing that phukr twice at 40yds, what cagey string jumpin bitches those are. Saw shit tons of game but none of the big five as they were further north though a leopard was caught on a kill the week before. Coulda damn near counted cou on Kudu, Blue Wilderbeast, Gemsbuck,Water buck, Eland, Impala, Giraffe and Steinbuck. Getting shot range for bow was way easier than I thought it would be, nothing at all like hunting the whitetail. Day two I started spotting and stalking and sitting trails leading to water holes for counts to mix it up. The animal inventory went great with large and healthy numbers and the blinds are now revamped and handicap accessible. I am working on some Snipers Hide pricing for this year with the owner and it should prove to be cheaper than a midlevel guided private land elk hunt minus the taxidermy fees. Check out the website for pics, needless to say I easily could have shot a 26 inch Blue Wilderbeast and a 55 inch Kudu and a walloper Gold medalion Gemsbuck with the bow but as it goes I was a worker and damn glad to be. The owner allowed me a young ram Impala and warthog which I declined till next trip. The owner did shoot a Wilderbeast, talk about tough skinning and chewing. I will get some prices up and clear it with Lowlight before I post. The worldcup is gonna drive flight rates up soon but my round trip non stop flight from Atlanta was only 1200 bucks out of the tax check coming. Not one fuckn snake the whole time.
