Painted my Mark II

Ran out of paint to paint the barrel.

Used khaki,camo brown, and olive w/matte clear.

Wanted to do digi cam in a two or three tone like my previous 15-22, but took a different approach

For the grass did two pass w/each color, alternating colors each pass

They both look good. I really like the grass technique. I am going to try it soon. I have a Marlin 82 that needs something done, and I believe this is it.

Paint used was rustoleum camo paint. Camo brown,khaki

The green was krylon Olive (camo)

Primed with rustoleum. Used about 3 coats of khaki for my base. And 2 coat of the grass with each color alternating colors and the grass for each pass. But these were light coats (maybe about 5-6 passes)

Also went sanded the primer..then wetsanded again after I was all done with 1500grit to give it a smoother finish in the paint..but sand lightly
