Gunsmithing Painting a Savage Tupperware stock?

Re: Painting a Savage Tupperware stock?

I bought the Savage 64f last year to drop some gophers on the farm I work for, and decided just this week after seeing Triggermonkeys thread on this forum. Used a selection of Krylon spray paints. Turned out pretty decent, outside of a horrid camo pattern.

Another product that will help the paint adhere to a flexible material is something called Bulldog. We use it on polyurethane parts on cars because of the flex from the elements and had some really good results.

Keep in mind that the paint or duracoat will "spider" if too much pressure is applied in one area.

Said product can be found at Walmart in some places and I've also seen it at O'Riellys.
