Didn't want to steal the thread from earlier. Which do yall think would be easier to do for painting spiral flutes black with a od barrel? 1. Paint barrel Od green, bake, then tape off entire barrel and cut flutes with marble and paint flutes black. 2. Paint barrel od green, bake, use my fine tipped spray gun to paint flutes with no tape, then wipe the over spray off with a lent free rag dipped lightly in acetone, then bake.
Option 2 sounds allot easier but I'm not sure where to find a lent free rag that doesn't disentigrate when dipped in acetone and create a mess. This is the look I'm going after.
