I have a M24R that is painted two different colors... Tan and a clay king of tan... Does anyone know what the color is called? I am trying to match my bipod to the stock. Yeah I know kinda trivial but hey, we all have something to keep us busy... LOL

That color could be anything...from mil spec spray paint that's in the system to local purchase on a Gov't purchase order, to private purchase from anywhere. Since your finish is worn, you want a worn finish on your bipod. Buy a pack of the commercial camo spray paint from Amazon or WalMart, and test spray to see what colors match the closest. Spray your bipod. Then take some flat black, spray your bipod, and wipe it off while still wet. The flat black actually acts a solvent on the other paint and wiping it off quickly gives a dirty worn finish. In any case, mismatched, dirty, and worn is the mil standard. Below is a Mk13 mod O with an original stock and bipod with the barreled action and scope painted to match...you really can't do it wrong . The stock, MARS rail, and bipod are original SEAL equipment bought from the DRMO...notice that they don't match. That's so I can get out of trouble faster than I get into it... makes it easier to run away.

But yeah, it's on backwards, lack of attention to detail, it's a wonder I'm still alive.
