F T/R Competition Palma Rifle Accessories

Guys.. I have a Winchester 70 Target (308)coming in that is tapped for the side mounted sights as well as the front on the barrel.

Does anyone know a good source for matching up some MATCH iron sights?

I would LOVE a pair of Redfield Olympic... but they are just NOT easy to find..

Let me know if anyone has some suggestions..

I did look at them but could NOT find pricing on the REAR sight they they have drawn up..

They look REAL nice.

Guess I will have to call them next week and get some more info.

if you do not already have a front sight system, consider using one of the newer "ladder" type ... this makes 1000y down to 300y an easy change...below is the one I use, made by Porter Precision Products...but I have seen a lot of different variations out there:

I know the barrel is tapped and has the globe sight with it. I will check out others.

Keep the ideas coming if you get more.

I JUST called Warner Sights.

He was AWESOME to talk to and VERY helpful.

Their sights are NOT cheap, but you get exactly what you pay for.

I am sold... Now I just have to rob the wife of about $600.00

Warners are THE rear sight to get. You wont see another brand of rear sight on any of the big dogs rifles.....and for good reason. Truly one of those items that you get what you pay for.

Now that you mention it CMP is selling Olympic Redfield sights. I just got one so's I don't have to keep switching sights.

They are suppose to be used but the one I got looks like its never been on a rifle.

It would be a sin to put any other iron sights on a Model 70 Winchester then the Olympic Redfield.

I have them for my Model 70 300 WM 1000 yard gun, my Model 70 Vietnam Era Sniper Clone, and my H&R 5200 (Army's replacement for the Model 52 Winchester)

Creedmor Sports or Champion Shooter's supply.

What size are you looking for?? I might have an insert for you.

Proof of citizen ship is easy, scan your Birth Cert, or if in miliary your Military or pass port. And e-mail it to them, then you can order on the net.

Only have to do that once.

No Prob.. I just emailed my State LEO ID/Badge and Drivers Lic... maybe that will work..

I found some inserts too at Brownells... They have a BUNCH.

Just have to wait to approve my status so that I can order from CMP online now.
