K&M Precision Rifle Training hosts 1 day precision rifle matches designated as the “Panhandle Shooter’s Challenge”. This match is intended for both veteran and novice shooters from within the region who want a top quality event, great facilities, and excellent competition all within one day. We host the “Panhandle Shooter’s Challenge” 4-6 times a year.

These matches will be a high tempo event with minimal “down time”. The course of fire will test and train disciplines from across law enforcement, military and practical marksman spectrums. Competitors can expect engagements from 50-1000yds at an assortment of steel, reactive, paper and automated moving targets. Target size will vary in difficulty based on the shooters position, distance and time allotted. Most stages will include “stressors”, either time and/or movement. PANHANDLE SERIES/PRS CLUB SERIES OVERVIEW
K&M is one of 11 clubs from across the nation selected for the 2013 Precision Rifle Series “Club Series”.

K&M Panhandle Match shooters will compete against other shooters within the K&M Panhandle Series for rankings. There is no additional cost and all shooters will be automatically ranked.

The 2013 K&M Panhandle Series and PRS Club Division Series runs from January 2013 until January 2014.

Shooter rankings will be based upon their match results using a standardized scoring method consisting of at least FOUR K&M Panhandle matches.

K&M Panhandle Shooters Challenge will continue to use PRS Standardized scoring = individual score/ winners score X 100 = Score.

Shooter ranking is based off his/her best 4 scores.

The top 6 ranked shooters from the K&M Panhandle Series on January 1, 2014 or season’s end will be selected to represent K&M and shoot in the National PRS Club Championship.

The PRS Club Championship winners will base upon ONLY the Club Championship Match and will receive 100% cash payback along with Sponsor prizes based on individual placement.

The Winning Rifle Clubs will be awarded a cash payout and will be based on the Aggregate score of all team members representing their club.

The PRS Club Championship Match site is planned to be on a 30,000 acre private ranch in western Oklahoma.

As everyone probably knows, we had some major rain this past week and has caused one of the roads in to possibly be flooded out on Saturday. I'll have some detour signs out but I wanted to give everyone a heads up. When you get to Charles Booker Rd, instead of turning left off of C180 (if it is still flooded) continue straight on C180 until you come to a stop sign (approx. 3-5 miles and you will also enter into Alabama). Turn left at the stop sign and drive for a few miles to Middle Creek Rd (Escambia 37) and turn left. Drive until it dead ends back into Charles Booker Rd and take a right. Range is about a mile or two on your left.

If you're staying at the pavilion, the field is wet so try not to get stuck.

It's going to be a great match and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Another outstanding Panhandle Shooter's Challenge! Fast paced, fun stages with little to no down time.

Big thanks to Bryan, Shannon and Don for handling the heavy lifting and assuring we all had a good and safe time!

Good shooting fellas! The weather was cold with some swicthy winds today. There was penty of good shooting on display and it will be interesting to see how the Panhandle Series plays out for the rest of the year.

Congrats to the winners and to the new shooters who came out!

A big thanks to Don for helping us out again! He really has become an indispensable part of the K&M team.

Great match as always, and always come away w good lessons learned, some planned, and some unplanned..great facility and truly a class act in every regard. Many thanks to Don, Bryan and Shannon. If you haven't made the trip yet, its well worth it!

Awesome COF! Got to say shooting out of the car was interesting. I'm sure those hostages I took out wish I had taken a little more time before squeezing off a shot! Thx for a great comp. Looking forward to running for DFL again in May!

Shannon and Bryan thanks for another great match.

Jamie happy birthday it was great celebrating with you Friday night

Great shooting to joe and mark and everyone else.

great to see all yall again. the K&M shooters and crew are really beginning to seem like home/family. its really great to see how awesome some of the newer shooters are doing and it is truely a testament of how well brian/shannon as well and some of the km team shooters "joe, benji, mike, mark etc" have done bringing up and molding newer shooter skill sets. this place truely is IMHO the best facility in the nation. in particular im proud of mark and jay. you guys are tearing it up!!!!!!! and jamie is rockin that 223ai happy b day and getr done. jim gilliland ...purdy cool to shoot with a rockstar!!! and your a lucky guy and i know you know why "i always think of ricky bobby when hes talkin about his smokin hot wife LOL"that gal can flat run a rifle!

I had a ton of fun and again realized what i need to train harder on! thanks for a challenging course of fire and all the hard work you guys do.

Dagsta is prob as good as it gets and a heck of an addition to the KM family!!!!!

Jason Byrd is spot on. It is a family like enviroment at K&M. I always have such a great time hanging out with all you guys and gals. Its fun pushing each other to shoot better and having fun at the same time. K&M is every shooters dream. I owe Shannon and Bryan more than I could ever repay. They have taught me so much in such a small amount of time. It is hard to believe they have only been open 14 monthes or so. I learn something at every match and always have stages that humble me and make me want to pull my hair out. Im counting the days till the next match.

Dagsta is the Man too. Thank you sir for all the hard work.

Congratulations to Joe and Mark that was a good example of some solid shooting. Mike you where right there the whole way! My hat is off to all the shooters that were at the match it was cold and windy all day.

Thanks to Shannon and Bryan for putting on quality matches, no wasting ammo every round counted. Like Joe said every time I shoot at K&M I learn something.

Don thank you!!! I don’t think I have shot a match that you were not there.

Bryan, Shannon and Don, thanks for all the hard work this weekend. The place is so great we could shoot matches there all year and not shoot the same COF twice. I really had a great time learning new stuff and hanging with all the good dudes out there. Good seeing all the new faces and shooting with you.

Shannon,Bryan & Don thank you guys for a fantastic Panhandle Shooters Challenge. The facility has grown into a premier and
top notch shooters paradise. New stages happening all the time.

Congrats to Joe,Mark and Brian--( good shooting)

Looking forward to April's match.

Regards

Mark

I agree with Jason and Joe....the best possible way to spend a Saturday. I've shot the last 3 PSC at K&M, Brian and Shannon always have new areas on the facility, that they have up and running. The planning/thought/work that these guys put into the stages we get to shoot, is phenomenal. And the icing on the cake....the people that shoot these matches are top notch and enjoyable to shoot with, looking forward to next time.

Thanks Brian, Shannon and Don. Congrats to Joe, Mark and Bryan.
