I like 5.11 pants, sue me. They're comfortable and I can usually find 'em for a good deal. They're just cargo pants for fuck's sake and I don't see why people make a big deal out of 'em. Anyway, some of 'em have pockets in the knees for the pads that go in ACU's.

But the last pistol match I shot in I wore my PJ's. Flannel pants and shirt with a belt and holster. It was 6am, I shot and was back in bed by 6.30.

Costco sells these things called travel pants and they are like 20 bucks. Comfortable and they have a stretchy material (stretchy pants!). No reason to spend a lot on pants for a match unless you are just trying to be tacticool.
