I sold a bottle of 12 year today for $350! Couldn't pass that up, got some KAC sights for my LMT and had $50 left over. I know where there's some 12 year old for $500 if you really have to have one.

Sorry to disappoint, but the recent theft of all Pappy's aged bottles will only serve the black market. Those of you who ordered bottles from places who were looking to receive part of what was stolen will be waiting patiently until the next release. Those of you who currently own bottles of the aged liquor will find that the chance at huge profits may well relieve you of that bottle in favor of cold hard cash. The potential of 50% to over 100% profits is on the immediate horizen as Christmas and New Years approaches, but the ability to brag about enjoying such a bottle this season may well be worth more in the end.

I agree with "cav has been" but had a buddy beg me to sell him my only bottle for $350. I think there's other choices out there at half that price that are better.
(I'm in the liquor business so trust me on that one)

Booker's and Blanton's are the two best Bourbon's that we can get, up here. Our wonderful "leadership run monopoly" only allows 'x amount of selection' to come into this country. This is a real downer for us here, as there is so much more that we want to try out.

Relish in your selection, people. You don't know how good you've got it.

But Sean, you folks "own" the rye market. Haven't tasted a US rye that would touch Adams Double distilled or Royal Reserve for that matter. That having been said, even up here there are some tasty Bourbons available. Lately Four Roses small batch has been available for $34,which I find outstanding!

I did get lucky enough to get 2 bottles of George T Stagg this year. Pappy will have to wait till next release in 2014. But to be honest even if I had a bottle it cost so much I would almost be afraid to open it.

put it on craigs list under collectables - around 400 ea - why ship it when you should get an easy FTF local sale - also with a low post count, unless you have some feedback who would not be hesitant to send payment
